  3. This is the JACKOSAV screen saver which runs under
  4. Microsoft Windows.  It is setup using the Windows desktop 
  5. screensaver accessed from the Control Panel and run when
  6. the PC has remained inactive for a predetermined time.

  10. This software may be distributed under the following conditions:

  12.      1.  This file (README.TXT) is included.

  16. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

  18. In order to run the JACKOSAV screen saver you need to copy JACKOSAV.SCR
  19. into the Windows directory and tell Windows to use it. 
  20.  
  21. You can copy JACKOSAV.SCR to windows using the FILE manager
  22. or with the DOS command:  COPY JACKOSAV.SCR C:\WINDOWS
  23.  
  24. Next you need to tell Windows to run it. From the Control
  25. Panel, double click on the Desktop Icon. When the Dialog box
  26. appears,  select "Jackolantern" from the list of screen savers.
  27. This is done by moving down to the screen saver section and
  28. clicking on the down arrow on the right side of the "Name"
  29. list box. Once the list appears move the cursor to "Jackolantern"
  30. and click on it.  The Setup button allows you change times and
  31. alter password protection.
